There’s something really special about going back through old sessions and seeing them with fresh eyes. I recently pulled this newborn session from 2019 to reedit, and it reminded me why this family has always held such a special place in my heart.

I’ve been photographing this crew for seven years now, which honestly feels impossible to say out loud. From milestones to growing babies and all the in-between moments, it has been such an honor to document their story over the years. Watching families grow in front of my camera is one of my favorite parts of this job, and this session was such a sweet reminder of that.

This newborn session was full of the kind of moments I love most — calm, connected, and completely centered around this new little life they had just welcomed home. Going back and reediting these images made me appreciate them even more. Sometimes time gives you a different perspective, and I found myself slowing down and noticing all the tiny details all over again.

These are the sessions that remind me why photographs matter so much. Years pass, babies grow, and life changes quickly, but getting to revisit these moments is such a gift. I’m so grateful this family has trusted me for the last seven years and allowed me to be a small part of preserving their memories along the way.
