There’s something extra special about getting to photograph a family through the different seasons of life-and this gender reveal was no exception!

I’ve known this mama-to-be for many years and have had the privilege of photographing several important milestones for her and her family along the way. Getting to be there once again to document such an exciting moment made this reveal even more meaningful for me.

The family gathered at A Cone to Pick in downtown Canton, GA, not knowing whether they were about to welcome a little boy or girl. When the ice cream came out bright pink, there was no question about it…

The excitement from the entire family was absolutely contagious. There were smiles, happy reactions, and plenty of excitement for the newest little member who will soon be joining them.

I love that this family chose such a fun and personal way to celebrate their news—and that I got to capture it for them. After photographing so many milestones over the years, it’s an incredible honor to continue being invited back to document the next chapter.
