January is the slowest month in the business of photography.  Everyone just had family photos in the fall, Christmas has come and gone, wallets are empty…

HOWEVER, people are still getting engaged and still having babies!

I started out my new year (after a much needed break) with Heather and Chandler!  These two are having a destination wedding, and came to me for their engagement photos.  It started to rain on the drive to the Roswell Square.  I wasn’t sure what we were going to do!  When I got there, we surveyed and I saw lights hanging under an awning.  I had an idea, and I am SO glad I went with it!  We sent a lot of time under that awning, and when the rain stopped we ventured out.

Sometimes when pushed out of our comfort zones as photographers, we thrive.
