Emerson’s birth story is one for the books!

Mom had been having contractions for quite a while.  The hospital finally decided to keep her since she was 4cm.  They were there all day waiting on things to get started!  I got there around 9:30pm or so when she was 7cm.  After a good hour nothing more was happening.

At 11:00pm they hooked her up to some Pitocin and things got real FAST!  Mom labored all natural and sweet Emerson was born right after midnight by the team of NURSES because she decided she wasn’t waiting for the doctor.

Grandma even brought the big brothers up at 2:00am so we could capture them meeting their baby sister for the first time!

EVERY SINGLE. Birth client is always 100% grateful that they hired a birth photographer when all is said and done. Save the money and do it if you can.  I am speaking from first hand experience.  I treasure my birth photos more than anyone will ever know.
