There are some sessions that feel a little extra special and this one was just that.

I had the absolute honor of photographing my niece Emma’s senior session at Kemp Park in Kennesaw. I came into Emma’s life when she was just two years old, and somehow in the blink of an eye, she’s now on the edge of graduation. Watching her grow into the incredible young woman she is today has been such a gift, and getting to capture this milestone for her felt incredibly full circle.

Emma brought such a natural confidence and ease to her session—effortless, beautiful, and completely herself. It was one of those sessions where everything just clicked.

But beyond the pretty light and gorgeous setting, this session meant more. It was filled with memories of who she was as a little girl, and the excitement of who she’s becoming. Senior year is such a fleeting season, and standing there with my camera, I couldn’t help but feel both proud and a little sentimental.

Emma, I’m so proud of you. Watching your journey has been such a joy, and I can’t wait to see all that’s ahead for you. Graduation is just the beginning.
