Welcome to my first ever blog post!

I am told over and over again the importance of blogging in this business.  I’m in the middle of a complete marketing overhaul, so there is no time like the present to get started.

This fall I was blessed more than ever.  I met an abundance of new families which makes my heart soar.  I was also able to continue capturing the memories of some of my favorite families as well.

My business is mainly built on referrals.  I know I am doing something right to continue to receive emails that start off, “You did _ photos and they spoke so highly of you!”.  SO from the bottom of my heart, thank you for pushing me, referring me, and letting me do what I love!

Now on to this beautiful family!  They were a referral from a family I am lucky enough to shoot several times a year.  We had many rain reschedules, but FINALLY the sun came out and it was worth the wait!  We braved the cold and made it happen.

This blog post gives you an idea of how my family sessions tend to go.  We get some posed portraits out of the way first, and then we PLAY!  I want your laughter guys.  I want those natural expressions on your faces.  I want to capture just how you look at your children, how you interact with them.  Those are your priceless memories.

So enjoy this one, as it is one of my favorites.
